Guided by the Vision & Mission Statement of the Institute, the mission of the Training & Placement Department is to help students clarify their educational and career goals as well as acquire employment-seeking skills and ultimately attain desired employment. This mission will be accomplished through building partnerships with Students, Alumni, Faculty members, Employers and the Community.
This department plays a major role in finding suitable job opportunities for the students and has tie-up with industries and professional organizations for fruitful and mutually beneficial linkages. The department conducts training programs for Aptitude development, Group Discussion Skills and mock personal interview with the help of experts in these fields. It also conducts Guest Lectures/ Seminars/ Workshops for overall personality development of the students on the topics like Communication skills, Time Management, Stress Management etc. Every year the department conducts “Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp”, to think of Entrepreneurship as a viable career option. It has a career guidance cell to motivate & prepare students for exams like CAT, Mat, GRE, GATE, Public Sector etc. Industrial Tours/Visits are arranged every year to give exposure to the latest technologies used in industries.
The department works round the year effectively and efficiently to liaison with major organizations and associations to facilitate training, arranging live projects and providing placement assistance to its students. |

The Training & Placement Office of the Institute has the responsibility of facilitating the Campus Recruitment Programme for all disciplines. |
 |
The Placement Office initiates and nurtures contacts with leading organizations/institutes for campus visits and is functional throughout the year. It endeavors to match the aspirations of the students with the needs of the Industry. It also assists the students for Summer/Winter Industrial training. |
 |
The T&P Division also provides counseling and guidance to the students regarding the visiting organizations, selection procedure, preparation methods & resources thereby ensuring that the students are adequately equipped to face the recruitment tests. |
 |
A team of Staff Coordinators & Student Placement Coordinators duly assists the T&P Office. |
 |
The central computer facilities are adequate for an online test for about 50 students at one time. |
 |
The auditorium, seminar halls and Interview cubicles, equipped with audio-visual aids provide the ideal venue for campus selection activities like Presentations, Written Test, Group Discussion and Interviews. |

The Placement Office ensures and takes care to provide the best arrangement and hospitality for officials of the visiting companies. |

To create an entrepreneurship culture among the students. |

To organise entrepreneurship awareness camps (EDC) and entrepreneurship development programmes (EDP), in association with “Maharashtra center for entrepreneurship development” a nodal agency of govt. Of Maharashtra, for the benefit of students and to extend necessary guidance and escort services to the trainees in the approval and execution of their project. |

To project the importance of entrepreneurship in curriculum of the engineering courses. |

To conduct research work and survey for identifying entrepreneurial opportunities. |

To guide the prospective entrepreneurs in obtaining their project approvals, bank loans and support facilities. |

The Alumni Association was Inaugurated formally on 13/04/2004 at the hand of Hon’ble Shri. Bhausaheb Mulak, Chairman, B.C.Y.R.C. About 70 Alumni participated in the Alumni meet in 2003.. Recent alumni meet was held on 19/04/2009. About 152 alumni participated who informally discussed of the possible help they could offer to escalate the name of the college and also help their fellow mates in getting well placed or developing themselves as entrepreneurs. |
