Mechanical Engineering Department was established in 1999, with an annual intake of 60 students per year to impart quality technical education to students. With highly qualified and hard working staff, the department has developed excellent laboratory facilities and teaching methodologies to shape the student into an bright engineer which can meet the need of the industry.

Mechanical department had organized a State Level Conference on Rural Development “Reaching the Unreach” During 16th –17th Jan 2004 in Collaboration with ISTE.

Prof. A. Deoghare guided a project for final year get 2nd prize in Y.C.C.E.  Cash Prize of Rs. 7000 /-- at National level competition “COMPUFEST 2006”as well as max student have participated in National Level paper presentation competition

Three Staff Members are sponsored for Post Graduation

Regular  Guest Lecture are conducted in department for faculty development & student under the scheme of TQIP

Department having well equipped CAD-CAM laboratory having CNC Milling and CNC Lathe and Sophisticated Software like CATIA, PRO-E, Auto-CAD

Department Having a Library & Reading Room with all the reference book prescribed by Nagpur. University.

Laboratory

The Department is having 12 laboratories equipped as per the norms and requirement of the A.I.C.T.E, New Delhi. The total investment in the labs is over 37 lacs. The Department is having the computer lab equipped with latest P-IV computers having CAD software like CATIA  & Auto-CAD-2006. The department is having CNC milling machine and the workshop is equipped with required number of lathe machines, shaper machines & drilling machine. The workshop is having the welding shop, smithy shop to cater the experimentation needs of the students. Other labs are equipped with latest equipment and machinery.
