Respected Sir,
We propose and
request you the approve our fees at Rs.50,141.00 for Engineering
Degree Course for the academic year 2004-2005 of 1st year
students. The proposed fees has been worked out inpursuance of the
judgement of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in TMA pai foundation matter
and is based on the likely cost to be incurred per student for the
year 2003-2004, 2004-2005 and 2005-2006. We are enclosing the
projected Cost of these 3 years in Annexure No.: Annex B-VI
along with full justifcation for the same. In our opinion the most
relevant criteria which needs to be considered in determining the
fees is the likely cost which will be incurred for the years for
which the fees is required to be fixed.
The Director of
Higher Technical Education has notified Form A,B,C, and D on its
Website, We feel that the information called for in these forms is
not adequate for deciding the fees. However, without prejudice to
our right and mentions the said information is being submitted as
directed. However, we submit that as per the judgement of Hon'ble
Supreme Court in the Islamic Academic matter, the college is
required to produce before the committee the proposed fee structure
alongwith all the document considered relevant by the college.
Accordingly we have calculated the cost student for the years
2003-04, 2004-05 and 2005-06 and the said cost has been explained in
detail in the Annexure No.: Annex B-VI Based on our working
we are proposing and request you to fix our fees at Rs.50,141.00
for an Engineering Degree course.
We may please be
given personal hearing in the matter. We are also enclosing a Demand
Draft No."411166", Dated 07/04/2004, drawn on Bank of
Maharashtra (Ghoturli Branch), Distt.:Nagpur for Engineering
Courses. The said payment is made under protest as the
expenditure of committee is to borne by the Government of Maharshtra.
